“Inclusion North worked with Flamingo Heights to launch our podcast, My Ordinary Life. We had done nothing like this before and had very specific access and inclusion needs. The whole team were so knowledgeable, friendly, supportive, and open to learning from our expertise around access and inclusion. It was a match made in heaven.”

Chief Executive Officer, Inclusion North

Video Podcasts Produced
at Our Studio

Our team are experts in video podcast production, particularly multi-episode podcast series. Here are some podcasts we’ve been involved with.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Yes, we film most of our client’s video podcasts with multiple cameras, even if you’re interviewing a remote guest.

We find that shooting video podcasts with multiple cameras makes them more interesting, since you can switch between different cameras in the edit to keep the podcast looking fresh and snappy.

  • We have pre-packaged offers available for producing “one-off” video podcast episodes —this is perfect for “out of town” podcasters visiting Newcastle Upon Tyne who want to record a single podcast episode.

Alternatively, if you want to record several podcast episodes back-to-back —either for half a day or a full day— we have offers available for this too.

If we don’t have a podcast package that suits your needs, please get in touch and we will create a fully bespoke, tailored package and quote.

For regular video podcasters, check out our podcast retainers. We can provide a regular (weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly) recording slot at our studio. As a podcast retainer client, you’ll benefit from reduced rates, but you must agree to a minimum term.

  • Depending on studio resources, it can take anything between a few days or a week to edit a podcast episode. Although it may take longer if some back and forth is required to finalise the edits or branding.

When you make a booking we’ll always aim to let you know what to expect in terms of editing turnaround time.

  • Yes, we can provide short form social clips and content such as podcast trailers. These are a very important asset for anyone who is serious about growing their podcast audience.

For more details on short form social content for video podcast check out the video podcast marketing section of our website.

  • Yes absolutely, remote video podcasts are something we regularly provide for our clients.

By recording your side of the conversation in our studio, you’ll still get that “professional look” for your podcast, even if your client is recording their side using a basic webcam setup.

We’ll rig up a screen behind the main camera to display your guest so you feel like they are right there in the room with you.

  • Although you don’t need video for your podcast to be successful, it helps a lot with marketing the podcast and discoverability.

For example, you can share the best parts of the podcast on video-centric platforms such as YouTube or LinkedIn to drive traffic to your long-form podcast episodes, and grow your subscriber count.

This technique is known as the podcast marketing flywheel. The more you repeat this simple process, the larger your audience will become.

Recording a video podcast is also an effective way to grow your personal profile. Your audience will see your facial cues like facial expressions and body language, and will soon feel like they know you.

It’s worth noting that video podcasts can also be repurposed and shared as audio podcasts, giving you more options to reach your audience.

  • No, you don’t need to record from our studio, although we’d always recommend it whenever possible.

Recording from one of our podcast recording spaces (The Flamboyance or The Shrimp Bar) provides lots of benefits including:

    • It ensures you get a high-quality podcast.

    • Our team will be on hand to provide expert feedback.

    • Your guests will enjoy a fun and memorable recording experience.

    • It’ll speed up the post-production editing, since our team can take notes and gain an understanding of your episode.

  • Yes, we always recommend visiting the studio for a quick tour. We’ll show you the facilities and our recording spaces and introduce you to our team.

We’ll enjoy chatting with you in The Shrimp Bar over a hot drink and learning about what you need.
