Our Audio Podcast Recording Services

Audio Podcast Room Hire

Most audio podcasts at Flamingo Heights Podcasts are recorded in The Nest, which is our dedicated audio podcast recording room.

You can hire this by the hour (minimum 2 hour booking), for a half day, or a full day.

Audio Recording Equipment

Our studio has a permanent setup for audio podcasts, so you can just rock up and start recording.

We use Premium RØDECaster Recording and Production equipment, which is well loved in the podcast industry.

Audio Technician Hire

In addition to hiring our podcast recording studio for your audio podcast, we can also provide an audio technician.

They’ll make sure the audio equipment is working correctly and set to record, perform sound checks, and

Recording Intros and Outros

If you need help recording the intros and outros for your audio podcast, our production team can help with that too.

We’ll sit with you and make sure your intros and outros sound great and make the right impact with your audience.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • For experienced podcaster, we can provide a simple “dry hire” of our audio podcast recording space, ‘The Nest’ —this will require you to operate our audio recording equipment yourself. Alternatively, you can bring your own recording equipment.

    For those who need more help, we offer studio hire plus an audio technician to help you record your audio podcast. We can provide a producer too if you need help with confidence coaching or vocal warmups.

    We offer additional services too, for example we can provide a podcast host to interview you, or co-host your show.

  • No, you don’t need any experience. However, if you’re starting your podcast from scratch, we’d recommend you check out our Podcast Planning Services before getting stuck in.

  • Yes, but please let us know in advance if you’ll be recording with remote guests.

    We will setup your audio podcast recording session with a suitable laptop, recording software, and microphone, so it feels like your guest is sat right there in the room with you.

  • SOUND PROOFING:

    Our studio isn’t externally sound proofed (although we do have some internal sound proofing). This means you’ll hear the occasional sound from outside.

    Normally these external sounds don’t get picked up on the microphones, especially if the microphone gain is turned down. If any external sounds are likely to be picked up, our sound technicians will let you know and suggest you temporarily pause the recording.

    ACOUSTIC TREATMENT:

    Our audio podcast recording room, The Nest is acoustically treated to reduce room echo and soften voices. This means your voice should sound great on the microphone!

  • Our podcast studio is located about 20 minutes walk (or eight minutes drive) from the centre of Newcastle City Centre, Tyne and Wear.

    There is free parking at the back of the building for up to two hours.
