  • Due to the size of this recording space, The Nest will accommodate no more than five people.

    For example, you could have one interviewer, three guests, plus a sound technician / producer, who sits off to one side and manages the recording equipment.

  • Generally, we use RØDE Podmics, which are broadcast quality microphones and designed for podcasting.

    However, we have various other microphones available, including Shure and Blue Yeti Mics.

    Our equipment stock is growing all the time, so if you have a specific request, drop us a message and we’ll let you know if it’s available.

  • The Nest is designed specifically for audio podcasts.

    However, there’s nothing to stop us setting up a simple one-camera video podcast in The Nest.

    For anything more complex, we’d recommend you use one of our dedicated video podcast recording spaces.

  • Yes, The Nest recording space has been professionally sound-treated with baffles and base traps, making voices sound great on your podcast. We’ve decorated the room with soft furnishings too, to improve the sound even further.
